Our Experience
With more than a decade of experience in the film industry, we’ve walked many paths. From standing on sets with over 500 people working on Hollywood blockbusters that won Academy Awards—but left us feeling creatively unfulfilled—to crafting small indie films that premiered at the Venice Film Festival, earning accolades and modest returns in the box office.
Through these experiences, we came face-to-face with the adversities and imbalances that plague the industry, especially when it comes to securing fair recognition and retribution for all parties involved.
This notable disconnect between creativity and equity became the driving force behind Sum Pictures—a commitment to reimagining the filmmaking process with purpose and integrity.
